The Hino Medical Center started in 2002 by Michael Hino, a Molecular Biologist by trade. His education was in the U.S. and England. Upon arriving to Ensenada, Mexico in the year 2000, Michael Hino’s purpose was to just research on how to treat cancer. His research was mainly with Alternative and Regenerative Medicine. As his research grew and became more known among the local people, they asked if he would treat them for cancer. So he did. From the beginning, he was having amazing results and the word just spread. It spread so fast, that all the local patients were telling all their relatives and friends in the U.S. and other countries. What is Chelation Therapy?
Chelation Therapy is an intravenous treatment using a solution containing minerals, vitamins and a special (man-made) amino acid (EDTA) This solution, through complex biochemical action at the molecular level, has the effect of removing toxic heavy metals such as lead, mercury and arsenic. It also causes the mobilization of abnormal calcium some of which is excreted via urine and bile and some of which is re-circulated with the possibility of being deposited in bone. EDTA also removes excess iron, which has been shown to increase the risk of hardening the arteries.
Oxygen Therapy involves treating the body with extra oxygen by enriching the oxygen content of blood or tissues. Research has found that the immune system uses the energy from oxidation to destroy bacteria, virus, yeast and parasites. For this reason, the addition of extra oxygen has many benefits for both prevention and treatment of disease. What is Stem Cell?
Stem cells have the remarkable potential to develop into many different cell types in the body. They can divide without limit to replenish other cells, serving as a sort of repair system for the body. When a stem cell divides, each new cell has the potential to either remain a stem cell or become another type of cell with a more specialized function, such as a muscle cell, a red blood cell, or a brain cell.
Bone Marrow treatments use a patient’s own cells, which removes concerns about grafts versus host complications. Bone Marrow procedures have been used with irradiation, chemotherapy and chronic immune suppression. Bone marrow procedures are potentially much safer and more effective for regeneration and anti-aging in cases where irradiation, chemotherapy and immune suppression are not required. The bone marrow contains mononuclear cells, hematopoietic stem cells, endothelial and precursor progenitor cells and mesenchymal stem cells, all of which, in healthy patients, assist in cell repair. Bone marrow blood is extracted, which is rich in hematopoietic and mesenchymal stem cells, from various locations in the body and then transfused back into the patient. A standard bone marrow transfusion filter is used to prevent bone marrow debris from entering the patient. It is generally considered pain free with a quick recovery. Anywhere from 100 – 300 cc of bone marrow blood is extracted. This includes about 2 – 5 million CD34+ stem cells and about 100,000 to 500,000 mesenchymal stem cells. The blood also includes growth factors and multipotent progenitor cells. CD34+ stem cells are capable of self-renewal and differentiation into various cell lineages, including immune and haematopoietic progenitors. Mesenchymal stem cells are also multipotent. They are able to differentiate into adipocytes, condrocytes, osteocytes and neuronal/glial cells when specific growth factors are used. Mesenchymal stem cells can contribute to neurological repair by migrating to an injury, replacing degenerated neural cells, integrating into the neural network and leading to functional improvement. These same stem cells deliver tropical factors that support neuronal cell survival and induce endogenous cell growth and proliferation and inhibiting neuroinflammation.
