My daughter had no hope of living a long, happy life when I took this photo on May 18, 2015. She was spending her birthday having IVIG treatment. The only treatment offered for the autoimmune syndrome that she was suffering from.

In the photo taken on 5/18/2016, six months after the stem cell therapy, she felt alive. Her eyes had that familiar twinkle. Her skin glowed, and her hair was thick and shiny—no use of a walker or need for a wheelchair.

The birthday photo was taken on 5/18/2020; she was at work… YES WORK!! Her life is whole! Fortunate to have gotten her job back after many years of being disabled. She has a grandson that she can enjoy and help raise. She is driving again, and there are trips and holiday parties that she participates in. Walker, wheelchair, and Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS) are in her rearview mirror.

All of the above was only made possible because of the alternative therapy she received at the Hino Medical Center.

There are no words to truly express the gratitude we have for the Hino Medical Center and its wonderful staff. From the front desk to the well-trained doctors and nurses who administered the therapy. These compassionate, upbeat professionals helped make the therapy experience a positive one. They became like family to us.

To say ”thank you” is an understatement. Again, a picture is worth a thousand words.
